I have a 13 year old boy and 15 year old girl (sophomore in high school!!). I am personally at this strange stage where I see little girls in public (usually around 7-9 years old) and I will just cry. Not really because I personally miss that age; but for the fact it was a tender age. I could get all the hugs I wanted and life for them was generally still this awe inspiring place. I happen think parenting teenagers is awesome - (although you can’t take ANYTHING personally). But as we know the teen age years aren’t an awe inspiring place; they are hard. There are other stores similar to Tilly’s! You will get to know them all. God speed.

Loved this! My older son is 12; luckily kids here in Germany grow a bit more slowly, so he's still loving LEGOs and not quite into fashionable clothing, but it is coming for us.

Also, Deinonychus!

can we talk about how much more these giant MEN'S SHOES on the feet of our tiny babies cost? My 13 year old wears a size 13 men's, my ten year old wears a size 8 mens....and wow, I was not prepared for the price difference between kids and adult New Balance!

My kids are only five, but today one of them told me not to kiss him at school pick-up. Because his friends were around. I wasn’t prepared for it all to start so soon!

This one hit hard. It’s probably strange to thank someone for breaking a bit of their heart, but thank you. And triceratops.

Feeling all of this all the time with my 14 year old. I love shopping for my younger nieces and nephews so I can still get all the solar system shirts and geode kits and Squishmallows out of my system. Oh and ankylosaurus all day, every day.

Oldest is now 25 and I’m happy to report he likes toy aisles and talking about dinosaurs again so it all circles back. I’m pretty sure Tilly’s is one of the outer levels of hell.
