Thanks for the NYT piece. I'm currently in treatment for stage 0 BC. I can't imagine how much more stressful this would be if I was also concerned with my fertility. Salt on the wound, that feels like.

I enjoyed your fiction piece. It reminded me of a shiva I went to recently and the kids (including the child whose mom had just passed) were all on the trampoline. Someone was laying in the middle and the kids were chanting, “dead person, dead person, come alive!!” And they would jump up and chase them, eyes closed. It was so interesting how transparent children can be in play.
